WHAT'S NEW!
- A Wecome Back Potluck is planned for October 30 this year and we are looking forward to seeing everyone back for the start of our winter riding season. It's the day before Halloween, so you can wear a costume. What, no costume? Maybe you could dress up like a biker. See Club Events for details.
- An informal get-to-gether will continue during the four summer months in lieu of a regular club meeting...same time (remember 9:00 not 8:00) and same place (My Favorite Martin's). Formal club meetings will resume again in the fall on October 9.
- It's a good opportunity to plan and lead a ride this summer, especially if you haven't led one before. Summer rides are often short breakfast rides that are over by noon.
- Roy and Beverly Merriott served up perfect weather along with their surprise picnic lunch in Beardsley Park after their Wednesday ride to Bagdad. Thank you, Merriotts! See Pictures for a few snapshots.
- Kudos to Roger and Kitty Yadro for a great overnighter to Rio Rico. We especially enjoyed the scenic ride through the Tucson foothills. And the Esplendor hors d'oeuvres served at poolside were certainly esplendor.
- The club newsletter, The Power Reader, is published monthly except during the summer break, June through September. It is posted on this website and mailed to the paid subscribers ($5 per year) one week after each official club meeting.
