About Us

We are a motorcycle club that originated in the Del Webb retirement community of Sun City and later, Sun City West and Sun City Grand (hence the club name), which are located about 25 miles northwest of downtown Phoenix. Most of our members are retirees from this fast growing area which now encompasses Surprise, Happy Trails, Sun Village, Traditions, Festival and other newer developments.

We are a very social club with riding couples making up a large part of the membership. Singles are also welcome, as are non-riding spouses who often attend our social events. Membership is over 100 and is constantly changing as new members join and older members become less active, some making up the "quad squad" who sometimes follow the bikers in their cars, especially on overnight trips.

Our principle club ride is on Wednesday, but we also have a Saturday ride. Sometimes we take long rides lasting two or more days. There are also "Mystery" rides where only the leader knows the destination; (it's the ride that counts). All rides are planned and led by a club members.

If you are interested in our club, show up a little early for one of our rides and chat with the ride leader. The Ride Schedule gives the time, destination, and place of departure for the scheduled rides. You can also attend a Monthly Club Meeting to learn more about our club. If you plan to ride with us, take a few minutes to read about our club's Riding Formation on the Safety page.
